In an atmosphere filled with emotions that flickered like gentle flames, Dikchu Government Senior Secondary School hosted a heartfelt farewell ceremony for its outgoing students on Friday.
The event commenced with the ceremonial offering of butter lamps symbolizing hope, wisdom, and the bright journeys awaiting the students ahead. Much like the first light of dawn, it marked an auspicious beginning to a memorable gathering.
What made the occasion truly special was the presence of the chief guests, the outgoing students themselves celebrated as the pride of the institution. The ceremony was graced by Principal Sir Santosh Regmi, along with the vice principal, dedicated teachers, non-teaching staff, and the entire student community.
The stage soon transformed into a vibrant canvas as students showcased a series of cultural dance performances, weaving tradition and youthful energy into every step. Their performances echoed like stories, each rhythm a tribute to shared memories within the school walls.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Regmi extended his heartfelt wishes to the outgoing batch, encouraging them to walk forward with confidence and purpose in their future endeavors.
The event was smoothly anchored by Miss Deepika Chettri, a Class XII student, whose poised presentation added charm and continuity to the program. The welcome speech was delivered by Madam Seema Rai (PGT-Arts), setting a warm and respectful tone for the ceremony. The program concluded with a sincere vote of thanks by Mr. Shrawan Gautam, also from Class XII, brought the event to a graceful close.
